Fubuki (16% ABV) : A Winter's Whisper in a Bottle

Like the delicate dance of snowflakes swirling during a winter storm, our December Sake Club release embodies the gentle yet powerful nature of a true Japanese snowstorm. Fubuki (Japanese for blizzard) is a Muroka Junmai Ginjo sake that breaks free from traditional filtering constraints, allowing its pure, unadulterated character to shine through.

Crafted with our experimental Sake yeast #12, this brew tells a story of innovation and tradition. The sake begins with a luxurious sweetness that gracefully unfolds across the palate, revealing layers of intricate floral and fruity notes that are more nuanced and complex than our standard American offering. It's a sensory journey that starts soft and inviting, promising comfort like a warm embrace on a cold winter's night.

But Fubuki is not just about initial sweetness. As the sake travels across your palate, it reveals its true complexity – a masterful balance that finishes with a subtle dryness. This carefully choreographed finish is intentional, creating an irresistible invitation to take another sip. It's a sake that doesn't just quench your thirst; it beckons you to explore its depths, to unravel its subtle complexities with each carefully poured glass.

The non-charcoal filtered (Muroka) approach allows the sake to maintain its raw, unmasked personality. Unlike heavily processed spirits, Fubuki speaks to you directly – pure, honest, and unfiltered, much like the first pristine snowfall of the season.

Perfect for winter evenings, intimate gatherings, or moments of quiet reflection, Fubuki is more than a drink. It's an experience – a liquid narrative of craftsmanship, tradition, and the delicate art of balance.
